Welcome to Bee School, the kid-friendly corner of Palmetto Farms. Here, kids can discover how bees live, why flowers matter, how honey is made, and simple ways to help pollinators every day.

In a honeybee hive, everyone helps. Worker bees gather food, clean the hive, feed baby bees, and make honey. The queen lays the eggs. Drones help new queens.
Bees build honeycomb out of wax. The comb holds honey, pollen, eggs, and baby bees. A healthy hive is busy, organized, and full of teamwork.
Bees visit flowers and collect nectar. They bring it back to the hive, pass it bee to bee, and fan it with their wings until it turns into thick, golden honey.
When bees visit flowers, they carry pollen from one flower to another. That helps plants make fruits, seeds, and more flowers. You can help too!
